Bayern munich lost at Red Bulls

American team Red Bulls played an exhibition match against German team Bayern Munich last Saturday and won 4-2 behind Jean Philippe Peguero`s two goals.

The german team used almost all their bench, since the best players are with their national teams for the World Cup preparation.

Taking advantage of that situation, Peguero, who leads the Red Bulls with four goals, scored from 16 yards out to tie the encounter at 1 in the 52nd minute. He tallied again in the 80th minute, when he took a pass from Joe Vide and chipped a shot over a defender and goalkeeper Bernd Dreher.

"I`ve watched Peguero for the last three years. I knew he had something special,`` Red Bulls coach Mo Johnston expressed. "You watched the second goal he scored, it wouldn`t surprise me if Bayern Munich were talking to him just now."

"We`re representing the league first and foremost, and it`s always great when you play the likes of Bayern Munich. It`s good for the guys and we scored some nice goals."

Bayern Munich were able to use Roy Makaay and Claudio Pizarro, but they couldn't make a good presentation.
